Everything is well I suppose. Ive been working, hanging and swimming a lot lately and thats always a good thing. Playing a fun show tomorrow so that should be cool. Thats pretty much it for now. Also, do whatever you gotta do to get this album.

I haven't done this in a while. Sorry. Here's whats been going on.

Job: I have a pretty decent one. Although the pay isn't great, its the first job I've had in a long time that I dont hate. Working with stuff that isn't food is so much easier than anything else. I dont know why I didn't think of it sooner.

Bands: Drum tracks for both new recordings are done. I'm really happy with the way they came out. Mike Gatto is the man. You can here the locked in stuff here: www.myspace.com/lockedinli. We will have CDs and other wacky items for sale in the near future. The Black Seas recordings are waiting for Christian to yell on them and then they will be done. I'm quite stoked on how these came out and excited to start to get the ball rolling with that band. We recorded somewhere around 8 songs and have a few more in the works for next time. The way I see it is that I'm in this band to fill the void that Cursed left after they broke up. If you like that band, chances are you will dig this stuff. Ill let you know where to get it when its ready.

Skateboarding: Is still the most fun thing in the world. This shitty weather has been driving me nuts but it was awesome to finally get a good session in tonight. Aside from listening and creating music, its the one thing that keeps me from going insane. I'm not good at it and the day I stopped caring about that was the best day ever. I will be doing nothing but ollies for the rest of my life. That is all.

So Im only gonna say this once...

Summer is coming. My bands are recording. I'm getting paid for the first time in over a month tomorrow. I guess shits looking up. Also as much as I dont want the summer to fly by, every day that passes brings me one day closer to the day I get to see this band and ruin my vocal chords forever.

This weekend has been extremely exahusting and fun its sorta not even over yet. Ive been skating probably about 3-4 hours for the past few days. I went swimming for the first time this summer and last night I played baseball for like two hours. I have work at 4 today and it feels like a break. Thats it for now.

RE: Love Letters and General Hooliganistics

So the past few days have been more weird ups and downs. I got my old Nintendo to work which is cool. I put a tv in room. I listen to every Shook Ones album several times a day. I drove tonight for the first time in like a week. I also went skateboarding for the first time in a while. Once again nothing much has happened since the last time I updated this thing. Im lazy

Life lately has been half boring and sad and half fun and exciting. I'm still unemployed which stinks. Writing new music is fun, not having any money is not. My computer stinks. I don't know what to write here because nothing that cool has happened lately. I guess Ive done some fun things but I don't know how to go about writing it down. Something good will eventually happen. For now here's a picture of Crazy Horse to get you by.

So hockey season is over. Bummer. The Rangers blew it big time. Its hard not to be bummed but I'm trying. Oh well. At least the Yankees looked good tonight. On Monday I got a tattoo. It was a pretty bad idea considering the fact that I dont have a job or money but, oh well. 99% of the things I do are bad ideas so, whats one more? It was something I've wanted for a while and since everything else in my life has gone to shit at the moment I just said fuck it (I'LL DO IT LIVE.*). I'm very happy with the way it turned out and its healing up nicely. Hopefully I can put together some cash to finish it before it gets too warm and pools start opening. Here's a shitty picture of it.

This weekend

was cool. First off, the weather was absolutely perfect. The show on Saturday was cool. The drive there was not. I saw Title Fight. 108 played Arctic. It was all very fun. Pita Hot rules. Ego waffles are also good. The Yankees lost. I stayed in Queens. I slept on a tiny couch and was awoken by a bunch of little annoying kids outside. The fucking Rangers lost again. Sunday nights show was also fantastic. All the bands were cool to see but Bane took the cake. That band is seriously mind-blowingly good live. I got free Capital 7". Cool. On the ride home some police man pulled us over and thought I was hiding contraband. (which I was not) Uncool. Rub Reese dropped me off and I owe him one for that and he is the man. Good bye.

Today and few days into the future

Today was sorta weak. I went with Tim to sit around and watch him get a tattoo but he ended up not getting one. I worked everything out with my appointment and I couldn't be happier about that. The Rangers got killed and the Yankees blew a lead in the ninth. Great. At least skateboarding and coke slurpees are still fun. I still need a job. Im going to be spending the next two days in the city watching some of the best hardcore bands going right now and that should be uplifting. Next week Im getting a tattoo and one of the best LIHC shows in a while is happening. Cool deal.

Show was canceled and it rained for a few days. That sucks. Its nice out today and Im getting a haircut. Cant complain. There is a new song that a band called Another Breath wrote and put up on their myspace. Its probably one of the best hardcore songs Ive heard in a while. It rules. The past few days.

Have been weird. Its really strange not having a job. Ive been skateboarding a decent amount and listening to too much Title Fight and (old)AFI. I got a new large bed which is nice. I need a job. Bleah.

Today

Today was a pretty good day after one complete dump day. I went to IHOP with a girl I like and the Rangers won. My band got put on a pretty cool show. I went skateboarding and saw a few of my friends. That is all.

Easter

Today I woke up at around 12 and headed out to West Babylon to some random bar to see a few bands play. A band called Black Teeth played and they were awesome. Thieves and Assassins also played and they are always a pleasure to see. Afterward I went skateboarding at Speedy Bump with Fiacco and Rob Rice. It was cold and Speedy Bump rules. After a little bit of boring details I ended up at Bcox's and we ate the cake we started making the night before. It was pretty delicious. Basically thats all I did today. Im addicted to this song. I cant find the regular version so here is a band called the Junkyard Dogs covering it. Cool.

First Show

My band Locked In's first show was last night and it went off much better then I had expected. My stick got stuck in one of the lugs of my snare drum but, oh well. I had fun and the rest of the show was cool. Title Fight played. Awesome.
